Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox is a Scottish born singer. She was born on 25, December, 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson was her mother, while Thomas Allison Lennox was her father. Lennox studied flute, piano and harpsichord in the Royal Academy of Music London for three years in the 70s. Lennox's budget was increased by a stipend for students and part-time jobs. Lennox was of the opinion that her talents aren't the same as those of her Royal Academy classmates. So she thought about alternative routes she could choose. Lennox played the flute in a 1976 band called Dragons Playground. The group did not get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. She was the lead singer for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977 to 1980. It was here that she met Dave Stewart and together they formed their duo Eurythmics. Lennox went on to record her debut solo album Diva. The album was released in 1992. Both commercially as well as critically, it was an enormous hit. Nostalgia Lennox's sixth solo record was released in the month of November. The C.D. Lennox has picked her most favored blues, soul and jazz tunes. Lepidoptera is a collection of four songs that were improvised by piano, which Lennox has released in May 2019. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut self-produced album as well as a follow-up to the art installation she designed at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art called Now I Let You Go... Annie Lennox was born in 1954 on 25 December. She is a philanthropist, activist as well as a singer. The Tourists were a new-wave group that had some success in the late 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by the band with fellow musician Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. The year 1992 was the year Lennox started her own solo career with their debut record Diva with a variety of successful tracks, including Why and Walking through Broken Glass. Medusa her 1995 studio album includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI I Love Yous as well as A Whiter Shade of Pale.
